With just days to prepare, Rutgers University today had the privilege to welcome President Barack Obama to its Newark campus.

While it was an honor, school officials knew the amount of work it would take and the number of challenges - like canceling classes, giving workers the day off, closing the campus' largest parking garage, closing roads, etc. - it would face with such a short span of time to prepare.

Despite, the university hosting the approximately hour-long round table discussion, only about a dozen seats were given to the university for its guests. The rest of the tickets were handed out by the White House, lawmakers and city officials.

While in Newark, the President Obama paid a visit to a residential facility, Integrity House, and after the roundtable discussion at Rutgers University – Newark, Center for Law & Justice, the President will make his way to New York, New York for a DNC event and a DCCC event.
