Police Seek Suspect in Vineland Shooting

Police are looking for the person responsible for shooting a man on the 300 block of West Grape Street this morning.

Police were dispatched to the 300 Block of W. Grape Street at approximately 12:10 this morning for a report of shots fired.  

Upon arrival, police located a victim who was inside a residence and appeared to be shot one time in the lower leg.  This victim was transported to Inspira Hospital by Vineland EMS. 

Upon speaking to detectives, the victim told police that he had just returned home from a night out and as he walked to his front door, he heard a ‘popping’ sound.  

It was at that time that the victim realized he was shot in the leg and ran inside his residence.

Police do not believe that today and Sunday night's shootings are connected.
