Police Seek the Public’s Help in Identifying Burglary Suspect in Newark

Police in Newark requests the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a burglary.

Police say shortly before 9:45 a.m., on Sunday, February 16, the suspect was captured on store security cameras attempting to use a credit card at Walgreens Pharmacy, located at 600 Newark Avenue in Elizabeth.

The card, which was declined, had been stolen in a burglary on Dayton Street in Newark.

Detectives investigating this incident are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect as part of this investigation.

All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
