Police Seek Man Accused of Shooting at Home in Newark

Police seek the public’s help in locating Hasan Mosley, 40, of Newark, who is wanted for an aggravated assault shooting that occurred today.

According to authorities, shortly after midnight, police responded to the 200-block of Chadwick Avenue on a call of shots fired.

Officials say a man shot a firearm into the residence window of woman he knows.

Detectives investigating this incident developed sufficient evidence to identify Hasan Mosley as a suspect in this incident and have secured a warrant for his arrest. Mosley is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose and Aggravated Assault.

These charges are merely accusations. The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

While police are actively searching for Mosley, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from our streets.
