Passaic County officials, announce that investigators are seeking the assistance of the public regarding any information that can be provided surrounding a hit-and-run crash that occurred during the early morning hours of Sunday, June 13, near 395 Route 3 East, in Clifton.
According to police, at approximately 8:13 a.m. officers responded to the area of 395 Route 3 East in the City of Clifton in response to a report of a body in the roadway.
Police said that the body of a male was found at that location in the left-hand shoulder. The still-unidentified male was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. More information will be released once it becomes available.
