Police in Milburn are on the search for a thief that stole about $2,000 worth of underwear from a store in Short Hills Mall on Sunday.
According to Millburn Police, management at the Victoria Secret store located inside Short Hills Mall contacted authorities when a woman hid about 160 pairs of panties in a bag then shoved a security guard before she walked out of the store.
Store officials said the panties were totally to cost about $1,680.
Police are looking for a black woman who was last seen wearing a white turtleneck, silver necklace, and black jacket, authorities said.
The Millburn Police is investigating the incident.
