Police Search for Suspects Wanted for Shooting Three People in Newark

Authorities in Newark seeks the public’s help in identifying the below pictured six male suspects wanted for a triple shooting that occurred on Saturday, July 8, 2017.

According to police, at approximately 1 a.m., police responded to 26 Duryea Street on a call of shots fired.

Police said the suspects attended a party in the area where a fight broke out.

Following the fight, the suspects began exchanging gunfire with several other males in which three victims were shot police said.

EMS transported the victims to University Hospital for treatment and released.

The suspects were last seen running north on Duryea Street towards Orange Street.

While police are actively searching for these suspects, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing them from our streets. This investigation is ongoing.
