There is an active search for a male who is wanted for a shooting that injured a man this afternoon.
Police are on the search for a black male who was last observed fleeing the scene wearing a grey shirt, blue jeans, and waves in his hair when he pulled up on a bike in the 100 block of Dewey Street and fired shots at the victim, striking him in the chest.
EMS rushed the victim to University Hospital where doctors are now treating him for life-threatening injuries.
The motive for the shooting has not been released at this time.
