Authorities are on the search for several suspect who were occupying a gray 4-door Pontiac wanted for a shooting that injured a man in Newark late last night.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 400 block of South 15th Street shortly before 12:30 a.m. where they arrived to find a male victim suffering injury from gunfire.
The victim was transported to University Hospital in Newark reportedly with a gunshot wound to the back.
Police setup a large crime scene in the area where they searched for evidence.
The suspects are still at-large.
In a separate possibly unrelated shooting that happened at around 10:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard, EMS transported one person to the hospital suffering a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim is expected to survive.
