Police Release Surveillance Photos of Merchantville Bank Robbery

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Merchantville Police Chief Wayne Bauer reported a robbery at the Bank of America today.

At 9:45 a.m., police responded to the Merchantville Bank of America at 23 Maple Avenue for a report of a robbery.   A man described as black, standing approximately six feet tall, wearing a sweatshirt, dark sunglasses, and a Giants hat entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding cash.  

The man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled in a vehicle from the scene.
