Police recovered a loaded gun on the scene of a shots-fired incident near a bar in Newark Saturday morning.
A preliminary investigation indicated that officers responded to reports of shots fired outside the Prince Lounge located at the intersection of North 5th and Orange streets around 2:10 a.m.
Units arrived and found shell casings and the weapon at the scene.
A search for the area revealed no injuries, according to reports.
Police have not reported if the incident originated inside the establishment.
The suspect has not been arrested and the motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
