Newark Officers found a bullet inside a business after a shots-fired incident in Newark Tuesday night.
It happened around 10 p.m. near 41 Evergreen Avenue in the city's South Ward.
Police say a ShotSpotter was activated in the area and notified police of about four rounds of gunfire.
When officers arrived, they found shell casings then notified hospitals in the region to be on the lookout for walk-in gunshot victims.
There were no victims found after police searched the area.
The suspect fled the scene and has not been arrested at this time.
