Authorities in Newark have issued a warrant for a man wanted in connection with a February 5 shooting that left one man injured.
Investigators identified the suspect as 32-year-old Newark Rasheed Simmons and says he is responsible for the shooting.
According to authorities, the shooting occurred outside a residence in the 200 block of Osborne Terrace, where the victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds according to reports.
Police issued the warrant for Simmons in late February.
