Police Investigating Shooting that Injured One in Passaic

Passaic County officials announce that at approximately 3:27 p.m. on April 3, members of the Passaic Police Department responded to the area of Aspen Place and Columbia Avenue in Passaic on a report of shots fired. 

According to county officials, upon arrival, the police located a potential crime scene but were unable to locate a victim. 

County officials said that shortly thereafter, police were notified that a 30-year-old male Garfield resident had arrived at Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
