Authorities in Passaic are investigating a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 19, 2025.

According to a statement from Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Passaic Police Chief Luis A. Guzman, officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 3:34 a.m. near Jefferson Street and Main Avenue.
When police arrived, they were able to confirm evidence of a potential crime scene.
No further details about possible victims or suspects have been released as investigators continue to gather information.
The incident remains under active investigation.
Officials are urging anyone who may have witnessed the shooting or has relevant information to come forward.
