This is a statement released from the Linden Police Department regarding a threat at the high school today:
"We are currently investigating a social media threat made against Linden High School. Although the "threat" appears to be reposted from a similar post in 2017.
Additional Officers will be assigned to the school throughout the day out of an abundance of caution.
The safety and security of students and staff is our top priority, and we are working closely with School Administrators to ensure that every appropriate precaution is taken".
Police officials have not released the circumstances behind the threat at this time.
