A late night shooting that injured a man in Jersey City is under investigation.
EMS transported an adult male to Jersey City Medical Center after gunfire rang out in the 600 block of Ocean Avenue shortly before 12:30 a.m. according to reports.
The man suffered a non-life threatening gunshot injury to the leg reports said.
Police are looking for a black male suspect who was last observed fleeing the area immediately after the shooting wearing a dark colored hat.
