A shooting that caused serious injuries to a male victim this evening in Piscataway has police on the scene investigating.
Police responded to shots fired reports in the 1700 block of West 3rd Street shortly before 7p.m. where they found the victim struck by gunfire according to residents in the area.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
Residents in the area stated that this is not the first instance of shots fired in the area.
The motive behind the shooting is under investigations.
There are no arrests reported.
