There is a search underway for several suspects wanted for a shots-fired incident in Newark's South Ward Sunday afternoon.
At around 3:30 p.m., four gunmen exited a vehicle near 130 Sherman Avenue and began to fire multiple shots in the neighborhood before speeding away from the scene.
Police said a ShotSpotter device alerted officers of the shooting. When they arrived, police taped off a section of the block after finding shell caisngs.
According to police, the suspects fled the scene in a grey Jeep Cherokee and remained at large.
There were no injuries reported.
