Police have a large crime scene established in the 200 block of 18th Avenue as officers and detective investigate a shooting that had a male victim injured.
Reports of shots fire that rang out in the area just after 7 p.m. had officers on the scene where they found the victim suffering a non-fatal gunshot injury to the lower leg according to reports.
EMS transported the victim to University Hospital where he is expected to be ok.
You may want to avoid the area and stay clear of the 200 block of Rose Street as police are conducting investigations at both locations.
Multiple shell casings have been found.
