Police in Newark's East Ward are searching for a suspect who fired shots in an Ironbound neighborhood on Wednesday.
According to preliminary reports, police say suspects occupying a light-colored SUV pulled up in the single-digit block of Horatio Court and began to fire shots at individuals standing in the neighborhood around 4:40 p.m.
Officers canvassing the scene found at least one vehicle struck by bullets, but no one was inside the car.
Police say the suspects sped away from the scene immediately after the shooting and remain at-large.
