Police are investigating the death of a man found on the side of the highway this morning, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
In response to 9-1-1 calls, Galloway Township Police responded to Great Creek Road, where a man’s body was found dead at approximately 7:20 this morning.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit also responded.
Next of kin has not been notified. The identity of the victim is not being released.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Galloway Township Police Department are investigating.
