Police in Newark are investigating a shooting that left one person dead inside a rooming house in the 200 block of Mt. Prospect Ave.
The shooting occurred shortly before 1 a.m this morning where police evacuated and searched the building for a possible shooter.
It is unclear if a suspect was apprehended during the search.
