Authorities in Burlington County are looking into the cause of an incident where they found a male suffering a severe injury in Willingboro Sunday morning.
According to police, at approximately 1:50 a.m., units responded to reports of an injured person in the vicinity of Babbit Lane and Levitt Parkway.
When officers arrived, police found a male (around 20-years-old) suffering a serious wound to his stomach at that location.
As of 4:40 a.m., police have not released whether the man was stabbed or shot during an unspecified incident.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment, according to police.
The incident remains under investigation.
