Police Bust Illegal Gambling Hall in Orange

The Orange Police Department announced that on July 14 their Street Crimes Gang and Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant operation as a result of a long-term investigation into illegal gambling in the area of 122 South Center Street.

According to police, Kelvis Martinezgil and Jean Raymond were the targets of this investigation involving illegal gambling. During the investigation Detectives from the Street Crimes Gang and Narcotics Task Force conducted covert purchases of illegal lottery tickets at this location.

Police stated that it was determined that this location was being utilized as an illegal gambling hall with alcohol, card games and dominos games.

This location was also a point of service for "Pale" which is a numbers game associated with the Dominican lottery.

This illegal operation operated under the disguise of a driving school.

Information on the outcome of the operation or any arrests have not been released at this time.
