Police in Newark requested additional units to break up a large crowd that formed in the city's downtown Saturday night.
According to police, the large crowd of over 100 converged and near the intersection of Mulberry and Edison streets around 10:45 p.m.
Police say very few individuals who gathered wore masks or practiced social distancing while cars and motorcycles began to perform 'donut' stunts to entertain the crowd.
Officers were able to move the crowd along and no injuries were reported.
