Police in Linden are warning parents about a series of reports that suspicious vehicles following children going to school on several mornings.
Although the incidents are being reported as suspected "luring", we want to reassure the parents that there has been no verbal contact between the children and the vehicle operators that has been brought to our attention, police added.
The vehicles were reported as "following" the children as they drive slowly.
Police are asking children to be aware of their surroundings and report anything suspicious to parents and teachers, however, we want to reassure everyone that there was no action taken by the vehicle drivers to "lure" the children into any vehicle or engage them in conversation.
The vehicles were described as a white van and a silver vehicle.
