PlayStation Sale Ends in Stabbing at Bloomfield’s Foley Field; Three Teens Arrested

Bloomfield

Three 16-year-old Bloomfield teens were taken into custody following a stabbing at Foley Field.

According to police, officers responded to the area of Foley Field Monday morning, where they found a 16-year-old lying down with a puncture wound.

Investigating detectives later that day were contacted by a 20-year-old man who told them that he was stabbed at Foley Field after attempting to sell a PlayStation 4 to the three teens he met on the Snapchat.

Officials say that the investigation revealed that the 16-year-old teen found wounded at the field was actually one of three juveniles that were later charged with robbery. The teen was apparently stabbed by the victim, in self-defense, police added.

Police arrested and charged with Robbery, Conspiracy to Commit Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Weapons Offenses. All three were remanded to the Essex County Youth House.
