Plainfield Authorities Continue to Crackdown on Drug Dealing; Four Arrested

Police took for suspects into custody and charged them with dealing drugs in the city.

According to authorities, on February 13, 2017, at approximately 6:00 a.m., members of the Plainfield Police Narcotics/Vice Section and members of the NJ State Police Trafficking North Unit, executed a Superior Court Search Warrant at 1465 Whitewood Court, Plainfield, Neow Jersey.

Authorities said the investigation lasted about a month and was led by Detective Pierre McCall, along with other members of the Narcotics/Vice Section and State Police Trafficking Unit.

As a result of this execution, Detectives located a quantity of cocaine and marijuana. In addition, Detectives located two handguns, a .25 Cal. semi- automatic pistol and a .38 Cal. revolver authorities said.

Derek Patrick, age 37, is suspected to be involved in the distribution of controlled dangerous substances around the City of Plainfield.

Patrick was charged with numerous controlled dangerous substances offenses along with a weapons offense.

Authorities said on February 17, 2017, at around 6:30 p.m., members of the Plainfield Police Narcotics / Vice Section and Members of the State Police Trafficking North Unit, executed a Superior Court Search Warrant at 609 Madison Avenue, Apt. A3, and 616 East 7th Street, Both addresses in the city.

Authorities said this was another operation that last about a month long and was led by Detective James Williams, along with other members of the Narcotics / Vice Section and State Police Trafficking Unit.

As a result of this execution, Detectives located a quantity of cocaine and marijuana.

Osvaldo A. Santos, age 34 who resided at both 609 Madison Avenue, Apt. A3, and 616 East 7th Street, is suspected to be involved in the distribution of controlled dangerous substances around the City of Plainfield.

Santos was charged with numerous controlled dangerous substances offenses.

In addition, Patricia Perez, age, 29 of 609 Madison Avenue, Apt. A3 was arrested and charged with controlled dangerous substances offenses for her suspected involvement as well.

Authorities said on February 19, 2017, an investigation led by Officer Gregory Peterson , of the Plainfield Police Narcotics/Vice Section and members of the NJ State Police Trafficking North Unit arrested Christopher Lecky, age 34 of Plainfield in the area of the 1200 Block of Kenyon Avenue for distribution of marijuana.

During further investigation almost a pound of marijuana, just less than 2 pounds of THC infused edible gummie candies and approximately $4,800 was seized in conjunction with this investigation.
