Investigators said a 2021 Nissan Frontier pickup truck operated by a 51-year-old Perth Amboy man collided with a 2025 Kawasaki motorcycle operated by Xavier Sanchez Serrata, 28, also of Perth Amboy.
Authorities said Sanchez Serrata suffered severe injuries in the crash and was airlifted to University Hospital in Newark, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck sustained minor injuries, officials said.
