On Sunday, Middlesex County officials reported that a Perth Amboy Doctor has been arrested and charged with Criminal Sexual Contact.
Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said Dr. Gurvindra Johal, 55, of Colonia, was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Sexual Contact.
Dr. Johal was charged following an investigation involving women alleging that Dr. Johal touched them inappropriately while under his care at Amboy Urgent Care, located at 469 Cornell Street, Perth Amboy.
According to Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, this is an active and ongoing investigation.

As with all criminal defendants, the charges are merely accusations, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
