One person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after reportedly falling from a cliff in Bergen County Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, emergency responders were dispatched to the State Line Lookout in Alpine at approximately 9:45 p.m. after receiving reports of an individual who had fallen from the cliff.
Upon arrival, crews located the unidentified victim below and requested assistance from the East Bergen Rappel Team to conduct a technical rescue due to the challenging terrain.
After more than an hour of coordinated efforts, responders were able to secure the victim and bring them to safety.
The individual was subsequently airlifted to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment.
