One person was airlifted to an area hospital suffering non-life threatening injuries after they fell down an elevator shaft at a business in Butler late Saturday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to 10 Park Place -Butler Business Center- to investigate reports of an injured person at approximately 11:50 p.m.
Upon arrival, they found the unidentified person at the bottom of the elevator shaft inside the building.
Rescue crews were able to get the victim from the elevator shaft to transport to the hospital.
Police are trying to determine if the victim was a worker inside the building.
There were no other injuries reported.
