EMS transported one person to the hospital after the victim was struck by a vehicle in West Orange Tuesday night.
Police were called to the 50's block of Conforti Avenue after they received reports of an injured person just before 10 p.m.
Units arriving at the scene found the injured victim on the ground suffering serious injuries after a vehicle struck them at that location.
The West Orange Police Department is investigating the cause of the incident.
