Pedestrian Struck by Vehicle in Warren County Airlifted to Pennsylvania Hospital

Authorities in Warren County are investigating a pedestrian strike that seriously injured a person in Washington Township Wednesday evening.

According to police, emergency responders were called to the intersection of East Washington and Railroad avenues to investigate reports of an injured person around 6:40 p.m.

Upon arrival, rescue crews found a seriously injured person on the ground after a vehicle struck them at that location.

Police say the NorthStar medivac helicopter airlifted the victim to St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, PA, for treatment and remains at the hospital.

The driver of the vehicle reportedly stayed at the scene and cooperated with police.

The investigation is active, according to police.
