Authorities reported non-fatal injuries for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Newark's North Ward Wednesday.
It happened around 6:05 p.m. near the intersection of Heller Parkway and Mout Prospect Avenue.
Essex County Sheriff's Officers arrived at the scene and found the victim suffering a leg injury after a vehicle struck them at that location.
The injured was transported to the hospital for treatment and is expected to recover.
There were no other injuries reported and the incident remains under investigation.
