Authorities are investigating an accident that left a pedestrian in Berkeley Heights with a head injury after a vehicle struck the victim, police said.
Police responded to the corner of Springfield and Plainfield Avenues for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle sometime around 3:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found the conscious and alert victim with a head injury.
Accident remains under investigation.
