There are life-threatening injuries reported for a pedestrian struck by a car on a street in Summit late Sunday evening.
According to preliminary reports, the incident happened in the vicinity of 185 Broad Street at approximately 9:45 p.m.
Police say the emergency responders arrived to find the severely injured victim lying on the ground at that location.
Summit authorities closed Broad Street in both directions while they conducted the crash investigation.
The extent of the victim's injuries were only reported ad life-threatening.
