Somerset County officials are investigating the cause of a crash that left a pedestrian severely injured in Green Brook Saturday morning.
At approximately 12:55 a.m., police were notified of an injured person on Route 22 near Seabrings Mills Road.
Upon arrival, police closed a portion of Route 22's eastbound lanes after they found a severely injured person lying in the roadway.
Medical personnel administered CPR to the victim, who was unresponsive, according to reports.
No other injuries were reported and the investigation remains active.
