A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a section of Clifton on Monday night.
Police say at approximately 8:50 p.m., emergency responders rushed to the intersection of Hazel and Broad streets to investigate reports of a pedestrian down at that location.
Upon arrival, police found the unidentified and unconscious person suffering a head injury in the roadway.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph's Hospital for treatment while police stayed at the scene investigating the cause of the collision.
No other injuries were reported.
