An accident investigation team was brought to the scene of a pedestrian strike that caused serious injuries at a location in Jersey City.
According to preliminary reports, emergency responders rushed to the single-digit block of Linden Avenue East to investigate reports of an accident shortly before 2 a.m.
Rescue crews arrived to find an unidentified person suffering serious injuries after being struck by a car at that location.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment while police stayed at the scene investigating the cause of the incident.
