A pedestrian was struck by a car at a location in Roselle Park and was transported to University Hospital in Newark suffering serious injuries early Sunday morning.
According to reports, police received reports of a pedestrian strike that happened in the vicinity of East 7th Street and Chandler Avenue around 1:25 a.m.
Units arrived at the scene found the victim suffering a head injury and the driver of the car at that location. The victim's injuries were not immediately reported as life-threatening.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
