Police reported serious injuries for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle on a roadway that runs through Fort Lee on Sunday night.
According to a preliminary investigation, at approximately 10:10 p.m., police responded to reports of a person down on NJ-5 near Palisades Avenue.
EMS arrived with police and found the unidentified victim in and out of consciousness while bleeding from their head.
Police say the victim was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for treatment while a crash investigation unit was called to the scene to assist in the investigation.
There were no other injuries immediately reported.
