There non-life threatening injuries reported for a person struck by a vehicle in Newark's upper West Ward Friday evening.
According to police, the incident happened in the vicinity of Chelsea and South Orange Avenue at around 6:20 p.m.
Emergency responders arrived to find the unidentified person suffering injuries after a car struck them at that location.
EMS transported the injured to University Hospital for treatment according to police.
The incident is under investigation.
