A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after a car struck them at a location in Newark's South Ward on Thursday night.
Police say it happened around 9 p.m. near 26 Elizabeth Avenue. EMS found the unidentified victim bleeding heavily after the car struck them at that location.
The injured was taken to University Hospital in serious but stable condition.
The incident remains under investigation.
