There were non-life threatening injuries reported for a pedestrian struck by a car on a street in Jersey City during the overnight hours.
According to police, the early morning incident happened at approximately 2:10 a.m. in the area 339 Ocean Avenue.
Police say the victim was struck by a car while crossing the street at that location.
EMS transported the injured to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment and medical professionals expect the victim to survive.
The incident remains under investigation.
