Authorities in Burlington County are investigating a pedestrian strike that injured a person on a highway in Mount Laurel Township on Sunday night.
Police were dispatched to NJ-73 near Route I-295 to assist in reports of an injured person around 10:30 p.m.
The victim was found lying in the southbound roadway suffering serious injuries.
Police closed that portion of the highway for the investigation.
The injured person was transported to the hospital.
The extent of their injury could not be confirmed.
