Authorities in Passaic County are investigating the cause of a pedestrian strike that injured a person Monday night in Clifton.
According to police, the incident happened in the vicinity of Clifton Avenue and Clifton Boulevard just before 9:20 p.m.
Police say a vehicle struck the unidentified person causing a serious head injury at that location.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital where doctors treated non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the car reportedly stayed at the scene and was not injured.
