A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being struck by a commuter bus in Passaic.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the area of Washington Place and Main Avenue for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers found a person suffering severe injuries sometime before 12:30 p.m.
The unidentified victim was rushed to St. Joes Trauma Center in unknown condition.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
