One person suffered fatal injuries after a vehicle struck them on a road in Bridgewater Township Sunday morning.
It happened just before 1 a.m. near the intersection of NJ-28 and Vanderveer Road.
Police and EMS located the severely injured, unconscious and unresponsive victim lying on the roadway at that location.
Officials say medical professionals made the pronouncement at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
